Today, blessed with fine weather, we drove from Tokyo to Morioka. It was a beautiful day, and we enjoyed the autumn atmosphere . Whenever I arrive in Morioka, the land always welcomes me gently. Thinking “I’m glad I could come here again,” my life feels relieved. I can feel with my life how it is healed as it is embraced by the energy of nature. Each time I come to Tohoku, I feel deeply that by living in nature human beings can recover the workings of life and nurture the heart. I began coming here every month to support the reconstruction from the earthquake disaster, and these visits have helped me so much as they’ve become opportunities for my life to be healed and my heart to be nurtured. I am deeply grateful to have been able to come to this place again this month, and I move toward Master Idaki Shin’s lecture tomorrow and his concert in Sendai the day after tomorrow. I am grateful that I can travel from place to place, creating a path for the salvation of humanity while enjoying beautiful nature. Thank you very much.
