Day by day, as we head toward “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” on October 1, what is essential has become increasingly clear and firmly settled, and I feel that my resolve is set.
On the stage of “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered,” as Master Idaki Shin performs improvisationally, I intend to concentrate with every nerve of my being on expressing in improvisational poetry the beings that manifest themselves and the energy that emerges, united with their existence. If I were to make use of my innate abilities, I understand this to be one of them.
I have experienced many times in the past that even the slightest interpretation, or viewing something as an object, creates a separation. Therefore, without any separation, united with life, united with existence, and united with Great Being, I wish to express the words that are born.
In the days leading toward October 1, even things I had sealed away deep within my internality and things I had kept closed have appeared, and the time has come to face them directly. If, before Great Being, those things can appear as they are, and I can acknowledge them and change, I feel there could be no greater salvation than this. Because there is such an opportunity, I am able to look directly at myself and face myself, and it has become an opportunity for me to think. I am sincerely grateful.
Yesterday, words were finally born. I feel as though I have been able to stand on a new stage. I am expressing the words that were born in poetry and creating flyers and other materials to convey them to many people. It is very joyful to express what has been born through action. I will begin by taking action.
My heartfelt wish is for everyone to gather together on October 1. Just as the people of Koguryo gathered from all over the country in splendid attire during the Koguryo era, if people could gather from all over Japan, I could imagine nothing more joyful, and I see that nothing could make Japan better than this. And I see it spreading throughout the world.
I would be grateful if we could all head toward this together. Thank you very much.
