Messages from Keiko Koma

26th Aug. 2026 / in Kyoto

Today, Master Idaki Shin gave a piano concert at ROHM Theatre Kyoto. At Master Idaki Shin’s concerts, one’s usual state, way of living, and way of being are revealed, while the state that is a burden to life is released and transformed. Today, too, I felt pain when my own state surfaced, but as I listened to the performance, which seemed to sweep that state away completely, negative things were dispelled, and my inner state became united with space. Suddenly, I heard a message telling me that I should live together with Jumong, the founder of Koguryo. If I could live together with the founding king who lived two thousand years ago, there could be nothing more joyful, and I felt motivated to do so. Then I felt his soul and felt that we were together. And I had an experience in which I came to understand clearly the state of Jumong at the time he founded Koguryo after parting from his mother for the last time and leaving the land where he had been born. I experienced with my whole being that human beings can live together with one another in soul even when they are separated by place and time, and this brought me tears. Now, two thousand years later, in the place of Master Idaki Shin’s concert, his mother and Jumong are reunited. I was filled with deep emotion throughout my entire body at the wonder of it all.
I understood that we who are living now are beings whose lives do not end with death, and I sincerely wish to live in an infinite world connected to the universe inside, without being bound by time or by various limitations in this world. I receive each day as an opportunity to practice living this way. Each time I experience our concert, I feel physically that my life has been saved. Every day, it is clear to me that in this present era, if we continue to live as we have lived until now, we will reach an end. Because of this, being able to experience at Master Idaki Shin’s concerts how to live in a new world makes me feel that my life has truly been saved. Today, once again, I had the experience of surviving. From tomorrow, I will live so that I can build on this experience. Thank you very much.
