The hot days continue. I have always got through the hot summer by brewing “Tamashii (soul)” coffee, roasted by Master Idaki Shin. Today, I also made “Tamashii” coffee into iced coffee, enjoyed it, and was able to start the day with vigor. After engaging in various activities throughout the day, I ended the day by listening to Master Idaki Shin’s talk livestreamed. Hearing that we are living in a time of profound crisis, I felt at a loss for a moment. There were moments when I felt living was painful. Yet, the next moment I began to consider how I should live and what I should do, and clearly saw a path of light. What I am doing now is the most fundamental solution, one that will enable us to overcome this crisis and open the way to the future of humanity. I sincerely wish to devote myself to this path, live on this path, and work together with everyone to transform the present crisis. When people who have regained their light begin to take action—one person, then two, then three—the world will surely be transformed into one filled with light in an instant. “A world filled with light” may sound very abstract, but I can see it clearly. A world of darkness appears black, and it places a burden on life. In a world filled with light, life and space blend into one thing, and there are no boundaries between oneself and others, or between anything at all, and it is identical with the infinite world. I feel with my body that here is where human beings are meant to live. When we live here, we can breathe deeply and freely, our hearts will open, and the strength to overcome any difficulty will be born within us. There are no obstacles, and there are no walls of limitation. I understand through my very life that human beings live in a world with light. At Master Idaki Shin’s concerts, I am always given the opportunity to experience life that lives in a space filled with light, so I can clearly sense with my own body whether a world is filled with light or darkness. If we, having regained our lives in this world of light, can express our true words and spread this world of light, I wish to realize the vision of a world that I can see which will surely become a better place.
