Today, after some absence, the Applied Course with Master Idaki Shin took place at the NPO KOMA Tohoku Center in Morioka. There was a large earthquake early in the morning, and I was deeply frightened. Because the Shinkansen was suspended, many people were unable to arrive, and empty seats were noticeable in the room; yet some managed to come partway through, and some arrived after the course was over—I felt that today was not an ordinary day. His words become the power to live. He spoke about rhythm again today, and within the course, I experienced firsthand that by regaining rhythm, the body's condition improves and one becomes balanced. Before it began, the energy of anxiety and fear stirred up by the earthquake filled me, but by the time it ended, I had broken free from it. Master Idaki Shin always shows us bearing and strength needed to live, and by being with us, what is unnecessary is sorted out and the original strength and power of life, is drawn forth. It is a truly precious experience.
Tomorrow there is a concert in Sendai. I am deeply grateful to have the chance to experience, once again, the power to live.
