When I go out into the city, the troubling conditions of people weigh heavily on my heart, leaving me distressed and pained. Since childhood, I have felt that a world in which human beings lose what it means to be human is sorrowful, yet now I cannot help but feel, with deep anguish, that society has reached a dead end from which there is no way ahead. For this reason, we have continued to hold the IDAKI Counseling Course and our concerts where people can regain their humanity. This is not a time to lose heart. I know with my whole being that, now, at this very moment, we must continue onward and create a world in which new human beings can truly live. Each day, I feel the presence of Great Being, and I am grateful that I can live because there is a presence that always stays with me under any circumstances. During this season, the greenery of the trees shines brilliantly, overflowing with life energy. Simply looking at it gives me strength. Life in nature in oneself, all life in oneself—they are working to create a world in which life can live. Wishing again from the bottom of my heart for a world where we may live together and where all life may shine, I spent this day. Thank you very much.
