Today at Tokyo Komaya we held the first “Poetry Gathering of May” since the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” concert was held the other day. As a new era has dawned, I was deeply grateful for the happiness of being able to hold such a wonderful gathering at Komaya, where people with heartfelt intentions came together to recite and share poems of a new life. My life was filled with joy and vibrancy, both when I was brewing the coffee and when I was serving it to everyone. When I realized that my life rejoiced because these are works with a future, there was nothing but profound gratitude.
I have been working tirelessly, wishing for world peace. I intend to continue my activities, and I will definitely create a peaceful world. I was so heartbroken by the world's current situation, with all the terrible things happening, that I even felt unwell last night. However, ever since I encountered Master Idaki Shin, I have consistently experienced that expressing the words of life enables one to overcome difficulties, so I have placed my hopes in the poem that will be born at today’s poetry gathering. I am always grateful that as I express words, a path will naturally be opened. I know exactly what I have to do, and the path I must pursue is clear. Unless one’s inside is light, nothing one does will change the situation. Today was a day that made me deeply realize, once again, how important it is to live a life with a beautiful internality that shines brilliantly. I am blessed to have a life gathering with everyone and composing poems together. I organize these events with the sincere wish that this happiness will spread throughout the world and become strength towards the realization of peace. Thank you very much today as well.
