When I was driving along the avenue lined with cherry trees, a space filled with transparency unfolded, and blossoms revealed an even purer and more beautiful presence. On the road surface, petals flutter gracefully, presenting a beautiful dance. Amid such a joyful journey, an earnest wish overflows within to create a world in which human beings can truly live. I feel strongly the desire to transform the world where irrationality prevails. As each individual shapes society, I perceive that each person living beautifully inside will inevitably purify space and create a beautiful world. With this intention each day, I express the importance of regaining inner beauty and that all life is united and that we can all live together, working with the hope of creating a better world.
The experience at yesterday’s screening of the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” held in Iran was profoundly impactful. The sound of Master Idaki Shin reached deep within, reminding me that the time has finally come to express what had long remained unexpressed. Today I understood visibly that by expressing what is most essential, the surrounding space becomes ever clearer and filled with transparency. When we express the depths of our inner being, the space in which we live becomes transparent and beautiful. The time for expression has arrived. Tomorrow, at Tokyo Komaya, we will hold a “Poetry Gathering of the Soul.” Never has there been a time when expression holds such power to transform the world. This makes my soul tremble. Day by day, I will continue to express and create a world in which human beings can truly live. Thank you very much.
