This morning I woke up with an unbearable feeling of living in a country that lost a war. My father went to war and returned alive, while his brother died on the battlefield. It was a morning when I felt that unless we build a society where those who died and those who went to the battlefield risking their lives are honored and their lives are fulfilled, it would be far too sorrowful.　Wanting to hear a message from Great Being, I cleared my heart and felt deep within my internality. The wind blew and told me. I clearly understood that creating a new world is the answer to everything. The present society, where wars are repeated and many lives are hurt and sacrificed, is not a society where human beings can truly live. If we ask who created such a society, we must look at the long course of history. Now, I was clearly shown that the answer is to receive light from the future, express feelings that are born within, and create a new world. I understand that to create a world where human beings can live is what it means to survive. Today is the Equinox Day. Feeling that ohagi is essential for Equinox Day, I prepared ohagi for the “Poetry Gathering for the Equinox Day” at Tokyo Komaya. The “Tamashii” coffee roasted by Master Idaki Shin was exceptional. It felt divine, and I experienced a sensation as if my heart and body were purified and my altitude was rising. Words that are born will create a new world. At this difficult time in the world, when I give voice to words that are born and recite them, space changes. This is a hope for living. I believe that there is always something we can do no matter where we are. I will hold a poetry gathering again tomorrow at Tokyo Komaya. Words are life, and they create the future. Wherever I am, I wish to live with rich internality, express the feelings that are born as words, and create a new world. I will continue to express this every day. Thank you very much.
