Today, following my instinct, I held “A Day of Encounters.” At this time of year, I usually refrain from appearing due to hay fever, but I simply had forgotten about such concerns and chose to proceed. The decision was made when there was no way to foresee that the world would fall into the situation it is in now. That is why I felt that if we could properly carry out today’s gathering, a path for overcoming these circumstances would come into view.
Today we held a screening titled “From Reika to the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered.” In the evening program I performed “Keiko Koma—Poetry and Talk.” During the screening, we watched the performance of the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” that was held in Lebanon. As if it were the actual performance itself, my body and soul trembled and tears would not stop flowing as I was enveloped in deep emotion. I felt that souls were supporting us, and to my eyes, this support was unmistakably visible. Although the circumstances are severe, when I sensed that the souls were with us and encouraging us, I could see that the way to overcome this hardship was for those of us who are living to create more movement and to continue creating a new world. Human beings create society, so when the inner state of people is filled with light and love, this will spread to the world through the space around us. When I think about what can be done while living in Japan, the answer I always reach is to live beautifully inside. To create opportunities where we can share experiences of living rich and beautiful internally, we hold Master Idaki Shin’s concerts and gatherings such as today’s event. In “Keiko Koma—Poetry and Talk,” I truly felt that souls were with us. I felt that words expressed with full strength arose one after another, and the gathering ended as I felt deep gratitude and joy that I had been able to express them. I am grateful that I could express everything fully. I sincerely hope that even a small amount of light will fill the world with this. The people from Ukraine who came today were very pleased and said they felt the presence of souls. To be able to resonate with one another at the level of souls, beyond words, is something for which I feel deep gratitude and happiness. From now on, I hope to continue holding gatherings that bring everyone’s hearts together as one, and to express more and more the wish to contribute, even in a small way, to the world. Today a new strength arose in me. Thank you very much.
