I feel what is happening in Iran as my own, and for the first time I sensed as reality, the anxiety that Japan too could be attacked at any moment. At first, I was overwhelmed by unease and fear, yet as I felt deep inside myself, I began to consider what could be done. At that time, the answer emerged while giving poetic form to the inner landscapes of each person during the Legendary Cafe of Koguryo we opened in Goshominami. I perceived that when each individual brings forth the power one inherently possesses, and when those powers are united, it becomes possible to create a world in which everyone can truly live. Here lie hope and possibilities. With heartfelt gratitude that another concert by Master Idaki Shin was going to be held today to open this very possibility, I went to ROHM Theatre Kyoto. The concert message was precisely the message most needed at this moment. Through that message, we were shown the path from the causes of war toward their resolution. Because it was a concert, we could even experience the contents of the message with our very lives. Within the experience of the concert, I experienced exactly as conveyed in the message and found the answer. Making full use of my innate qualities—sensitivity to hear the voice of nature’s life and the voice of souls—I resolved in my heart to devote myself entirely to connect with the world far beyond inside, listen to divine messages that come forth, and put those messages into action. I vow from my heart to exert my fullest potential and work together with others to create a world in which human lives are never again sacrificed. That Iran, a place we have visited many times and held many concerts, is being destroyed is my own pain. I continue to pray unceasingly that there will be no more destruction and no more loss of life. My heart also aches unbearably at the news that Lebanon, where I have been named a Permanent Honorary Citizen, has been attacked across the entire country. It is now an urgent task for us to join our strength and to create a world, as swiftly as possible, in which no life is sacrificed and no life is harmed. I am committed to continuing this work. As there will be another concert tomorrow at our Guesthouse, I will live in a way that fully makes use of the concert experiences. Thank you.
