Messages from Keiko Koma

1st Mar. 2026 / in Kyoto

It is now March. Alongside the arrival of spring, the month began with a heavy heartache as I learn of the state of the world through the news each day and feel strongly the darkness, sorrow, and negative energy of the dark world where precious human lives are sacrificed in complete opposition to the vitality of nature. I always feel deeply that without creating a new world, the world will not change. With the wish to embody a way of living that creates a new world, I continue to devote myself to this practice every day. Today, at the IDAKI Kyoto Office, we held the Applied Course and the “Ontology” lecture by Master Idaki Shin. His words, that the mind of opposing war or creating peace cannot give rise to environments or places in which human beings can live, have penetrated me profoundly. I perceive that when we live in accordance with the workings of life itself and when an environment is created in which those processes are allowed to function as they are, every life can live peacefully and shiningly. I return once again to the foundation that living in this way myself is the start. Fortunately, through Master Idaki Shin’s courses and concerts, we can regain the fulfillment of life and experience love. By continuing to accumulate these experiences, I see a light of hope that human life, together with the life of nature, can create a world in which life shines brilliantly. Although these are indeed difficult times, through many years of activity I have come to know deeply that the answer lies in not giving up and in continuing to create a new world. With this resolve—to move toward realization and to keep walking forward without rest—the month of March has begun. Tomorrow marks the anniversary of the start of IDAKI. At ROHM Theatre Kyoto, Master Idaki Shin will give a piano concert . It is a place where a world in which human beings can truly live is created. I am deeply grateful for the blessing of being present at such a place. I’m also thankful that we can share the experience with many people. I pray that its energy will spread throughout the world and reach the hearts of people everywhere. Thank you.
