Today, following a revelation, I held the event “Journey of Koguryo” at Tokyo Koma-ya. For forty minutes we screened footage of the landscape of Wunu Mountain, filmed by Master Idaki Shin on my birthday, May 13, 2009, and played the piano recording that Master Idaki Shin had previously performed under the title “Koguryo Now.” I recited improvised poems. As I watched the images, geometric forms appeared clearly and naturally became words, making the poetry flow with ease. I lost the sense of time in joy, becoming united with the images and the music. When all ended at the same time, I was astonished. Through my body, I understood what it means to move in unity with great works. At Wunu Mountain Fortress, I encountered my true self and my life opened. Today, I realized that at Tokyo Koma-ya, each person can meet one’s true self and experience the opening of one’s own life. I am deeply grateful from my heart for the opportunity to have such an extraordinary experience. The sweets prepared for this day by Emi and Ai so that one might feel as if traveling through the land of Koguryo were exceptional. Merging together with the Ceremony Coffee specially roasted by Master Idaki Shin, I truly felt happy and fulfilled. The time when everyone expressed one’s feelings in poetry and shared them was also profoundly rich. I feel great joy and gratitude in being able to hold such an event owing to great guidance. Hearing the words, “After having this experience, anyone would want to come here again,” brought me even greater happiness. If I can do what I truly wish, be of service to others, and contribute to world peace, nothing could be more joyful and precious. Today felt like taking the very first step toward that, and it became a truly happy and wonderful day. I am grateful for great works. Thank you.
