Today, we held another gathering at Tokyo Koma-ya. It was Komaya Special. We screened “Reika,” a work representing my life as a vertical axis of history, and the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered.” As I reflected on my life, the path that led me to encounter Master Idaki Shin became clear, its meaning was revealed, and naturally, what I am to do and how I am to live came into view. The music represents the voice of souls, expressing the sorrow, love, and pathos of souls that have lived through countless years. It cannot be heard without tears. Having the experience of my soul being shaken to its depths and my heart being truly moved, I gain a deeper meaning of living life, and feel profound gratitude for a life that allows such moments. The time spent then sharing poems that arise from within everyone is also an irreplaceable and precious moment. As I listen to each person’s poem, scenes come into view, and the varied journeys of many souls are revealed. Through meeting here and becoming unified, the past merges into the present and is reborn as new strength. And together, we will live our lives to build a new history. Clearly understanding this, I trembled with gratitude, feeling there is no life more blessed or more historical than this. If the expressions born here spread to the world through space, there could be nothing for which I am more thankful. It brings me joy to see that words change space, transform places, and propagate outward. Master Idaki Shin often says that it would be good if expressions could be born that change the world from here in Japan. With this in my heart, I continually devote myself to sensing my inner being and expressing with accuracy the words that are born from it. Today again, we shared an extraordinary time together, and I am deeply grateful for a blessed life. Today I brewed Ceremonial Coffee specially roasted for Tokyo Komaya that was enjoyed together with the cake made by Ms.Emi. Both body and heart grew light and were filled. To be able to share this experience with everyone is one of life’s great joys. I pray that the energy for realizing a peaceful world may spread from Komaya to the world. Thank you very much.
