Today, in the clear sky, Mount Fuji appeared with extraordinary beauty, its presence emerging clearly. Simply by the sight of the mountain, I was taught that the era had changed and the way human beings live would change. Stepping outside, I encountered a scene that felt like a mass of self-centeredness, and in that moment, I understood that the egocentric way of living until now was coming to an end as it would make us completely immobile. I deeply felt that I, too, must set myself straight within and live united with Great Being, otherwise I could not continue to live. Praying to be united with Great Being, I made my way to Roppongi. The experience taught me that I was being protected by sensing Great Being, and living together with it under any circumstances is what it means to live in the new era. Today, at Tokyo Koma-ya, we held a screening of “Reika to the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered,” followed by a soul poetry gathering. While, at the Entrepreneur Salon, Master Idaki Shin spoke about “creating a place where people can have a good time,” I have felt that from the time Koma-ya was created, it has been exactly such a place. After listening to Master Idaki Shin’s words and gaining firm conviction, I had been looking forward to this day. Recently, I have become keenly aware that my life represents the vertical axis of history. By expressing my own life, I can clearly see that a path leading to Master Idaki Shin will be made. Because the acoustics of Koma-ya are exceptionally nice, during screenings, the sound leaps directly into you. You become united with it, and can experience it as though you are listening from the center, the very core, of the world. Naturally, you come to understand the meaning of having encountered Master Idaki Shin and gain clarity about how to live and what you will do. After such an experience, when you express your inner state in poetry, unexpected words arise from within. What you are to do can then be expressed with clarity. Feeling that it was a supremely wonderful time, we once again shared joy together with those who participated. The participants said that the more the soul awakens, the more clearly one understands the meaning of having met Master Idaki Shin. This is truly so. The more I come to understand myself, the more my soul awakens, the deeper the meaning of that encounter becomes, and naturally, what I am to do comes into view, leading me to move. Being able to share such a wonderful time with everyone again today fills my heart with joy and gratitude. Tomorrow, Master Idaki Shin will play a piano concert at Kaze-no Hall of Mitaka City Arts Center. There is no opportunity more precious than this.
