A cold wind was blowing today. When I listened with a clear heart to “Kaze no Tayori,” it conveyed to me the message that joyful experiences and happy things transcend places and that they are carried by the wind. When I have a good experience, I often find myself wishing for everyone else to have the same good experience, and when that doesn't happen, I frequently feel lonely. As I pondered such things, the wind seemed to tell me, as if to encourage me, that it would carry my feelings beyond this place, so it would be alright. Human beings are not defined by place, and even when we are not in the same location, I have experienced many times that one life is one soul. With the wish that happy energy may spread throughout the world while living in Japan, I held "Keiko Koma- My Life Story" at Tokyo Komaya today. We live-streamed it to people across the country, and happily, it bore good results. I am delighted to see that the message is spreading beyond boundaries, and I feel truly grateful. Today's experience made me feel as if I could see that when we put our efforts together, our lives become one life and space itself is transformed. Tokyo Komaya is a gentle space, surrounded by solid wood, and feels very pleasant. The sound of Master Idaki Shin resonates with a profoundly beautiful and clear tone, creating a sacred space. At Komaya, we also serve a special ceremonial coffee, roasted exclusively by Master Idaki Shin, available only at Komaya. It is a purifying coffee. I always wish to share rich experiences with many people. Today, I was blessed to share another wonderful experience with everyone, and I am filled with great joy and appreciation. I live each day with the desire to contribute to the realization of world peace, even if only by taking one step forward. I feel that tomorrow’s gathering at Komaya will surely spread across the world. With the world in my heart, I will proceed. Thank you very much.
