Today in Mitaka, Master Idaki Shin played a piano concert . Living each day by doing what I see and creating the path ahead is profoundly enriching, filled with learning, and I live with deep gratitude. I also deeply appreciate letters from people overseas that touch my heart, and each word continues to shine within me. Even amid such days, there are moments when my heart suddenly grows clouded, and with the wish to break free from such a pattern, I attended the concert. We received an extraordinarily wonderful message, and even the message alone moved me deeply. That beautiful message was expressed through improvised piano performance, allowing me truly to understand the meaning of the words of the message—an experience of immeasurable depth. Today, I came clearly to understand “genpin” (mysterious female), which expresses the essence of humanity. I also understood that when the heart darkens or becomes clouded, it is because I am not connected to Great Being. I realized that when worries or concerns begin to occupy the chest, it is a sign that I have forgotten Great Being. The sound of Master Idaki Shin’s piano connects us with Master Idaki Shin, connects us with Great Being, and restores life that is united with the whole. In this state, a powerful strength wells up, making me feel that no matter what happens, I can continue to live. Today as well, as the performance came to an end, I felt saved and filled with heartfelt gratitude. I always have a great wish to convey the presence of Master Idaki Shin to people all over the world, and today that desire arose once again. A recent reply from a Palestinian poet has remained deeply in my heart, bringing me to tears again and again. He wrote that my letter contained everything about the Palestinian people, and after repeatedly expressing his thanks, he concluded by saying that the reason for his gratitude was that my letter reminded them that they could go on living. Upon receiving these words that brought me to tears, a strong resolve arose within me to convey the existence of Master Idaki Shin to the world. If even those in difficult circumstances, in pain, suffering, or deep sorrow can feel that they can go on living, and if hope can be born—just imagining this causes tears to well up. I will continue to devote myself to conveying IDAKI to the world. I will keep moving toward the day when people around the globe can share in these deeply moving concerts. Thank you very much.
