The day following yesterday’s concert by Master Idaki Shin began with a strong desire to carry forward what I had experienced during the performance. I took deep breaths, sensed my inner depths, and made a conscious effort to express my feelings and wishes with precision. It brings me great joy to know that when one is able to express oneself accurately, true mutual understanding is always possible. While I have long wished never to live in a way that contributes to war, I have also suffered over many years from the realization that if what resides within me gives rise to division or confrontation, the outcome inevitably becomes conflict. I have lived with a constant longing somehow to break free from this. Fortunately, through Master Idaki Shin’s concert, I have been saved by liberation from such a state. Each human being and life a carries a long history. With each chance of release, my inner state has now come to a state that connects to the far beyond. I live each day coming to understand that to be human is to live while being connected to that far beyond. With a heartfelt wish for the realization of world peace, I spend my days aspiring to live with a clear heart and to create a new world. Today, just as it appeared to me, I held a “Soul Poetry Gathering.” I truly feel that if the soul can be expressed, the world will change. Today’s experience also made me understand deeply that to live without expressing the soul is akin to living while already dead. I wish to continue learning, understanding, and advancing day by day to pave the way forward. Thank you again today.
