Messages from Keiko Koma

5th Jan. 2026 / in Tokyo

Last night, I suffered as I bore within my body many burdens writhing through surrounding space; yet this morning I awoke completely cleared. My body felt remarkably light. It felt as though I had been covered by a veil of darkness. I offer my heartfelt gratitude that this great covering has been lifted, allowing strength to arise from within and enabling me to move forward anew. Tomorrow, the first piano concert of this year by Master Idaki Shin will be held at the Hikari-no Hall of Mitaka City Public Hall. As we listen to his continuous succession of sounds created moment by moment for the purpose of releasing and resolving the burdens of the entire world which he takes upon himself, our own life is likewise liberated—what is unnecessary falls away, dimensions shift, and new strength is born. I am always grateful that because these concerts exist, I can continue to live with hope even in a world of great hardship. In a world filled with the energy of division, it is truly a blessing to have the experience of regaining, through our very lives, the state where human beings are originally united in life and love itself. I pray that the energy of this concert will spread throughout the world, and I earnestly wish always that a world in which everyone can live in peace and well-being will be created as soon as possible. At the same time, I live each day with the intention of acting to create peace. May tomorrow’s concert reach people all over the world.
