There is only one day left in the year. Today we prepared for the New Year. Although I’m usually someone who does everything quickly, today I wished to move slowly and carefully, and that is how I decorated sablés. From each design, I perceived scenes and heard messages, which I expressed as poetry on marbled washi paper. As I decorated the sablés I asked to be made in the shape of Wunu Mountain, I found myself filled with the energy of being on the mountain immersed in an extraordinary surge of energy as if engaging in the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered.” Life felt vibrant and dynamic, filling me with renewed vitality. I was deeply happy and grateful that when I expressed what I saw directly in words, the strength to live was born. In the past few days, I had been exposed to many different energies, which made me suffer. By expressing everything in words all at once, I felt purified, strength arose from within, and the newly born strength gently released my fatigue and tension. This filled me with nothing but gratitude. To be able to regain energy by working is a great blessing. This brings me profound joy because I work with the wish to open the future of humanity and to realize world peace. Through the energies I sense, I deeply feel how challenging the present world is. Creating a new path without losing my center by remaining connected to the far beyond, receiving abundant guidance, and expressing the wishes and feelings that arise brings me joy and purpose. Tomorrow, the final day of the year, we will be preparing Toshikoshi Soba noodles at Food for Life, Kitchen Labo. It's our first time, so I feel both nervous and excited. I sincerely look forward to welcoming everyone. Thank you.
