Today at Tokyo Koma-ya, we organized a screening of the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” held in Bitola, Macedonia followed by “Today’s Talk and Dialogue.” Tokyo Koma-ya is a space surrounded by solid wood, filled with its natural warmth and endowed with excellent acoustics. Even in a screening, it feels as though you are listening to a live performance that stirs the soul, opens inner space, and fills the heart with hope to move forward. Also, as we savor the richly aromatic coffee, we are given the precious opportunity to think deeply about life and express innermost wishes that arise within us as we engage in dialogue, for which I am profoundly grateful. When expression is born, the path ahead opens. To have such opportunities in life is truly a blessing, and with deep gratitude I find myself thinking solely about realizing my wish to create a peaceful world, no matter what it takes. I am deeply happy that our shared dialogues have become talks where words that are being born in this very moment can be spoken and exchanged. We continue to experience that words born now transcend age and position, enabling true mutual understanding. Each person who gathers has taken Master Idaki Shin’s IDAKI Counseling Course and has also experienced our concerts, making it possible to have a communion of life and mutual understanding. To understand one another becomes a source of power to live. It is with hope that we may all live with vitality and radiance, and together create a peaceful world, that I hold these gatherings at Koma-ya. From the bottom of my heart, I am thankful for sharing another richly fulfilling time with everyone.
