On the morning of my trip to Kyoto and Mount Hiei, the situation in Lebanon that I heard of yesterday from our Lebanese guest stayed with me, weighing on my heart and leading me into deep thought. When I return to my soul, my chest opens, sensing there is something I should do. As I attune myself to the center of life that can take on and accept everything, I experience how the worries and anxieties before me are absorbed and melt into light at the center. I am taught that living in this state leads toward resolving various issues. And I understand that creating a world where people can live peacefully, as soon as possible, begins with the life of each person shining richly. When I arrived in Kyoto and greeted the Yasaka Pagoda, I saw a vision showing that when one expresses one’s true light, shining brilliantly, the people around also live and shine, and a beautiful world is created. The scene showed me how to live. Many messages have taught me that living in a state of radiance—knowing oneself, expressing oneself to live fully, and working in ways that benefit people and society—can truly change the world. I will take these messages to heart and act upon them. Tomorrow, Master Idaki Shin’s piano concert will be held at ROHM Theatre Kyoto. Knowing that his concerts are the fastest path to realizing peace, I devote my life to them. I sincerely hope you will make attending these concerts your highest priority in life, as they are essential experiences for living, and I look forward to welcoming you. Thank you very much.
