Today, a piano concert by Master Idaki Shin was held at Mitaka City Public Hall, Hikari-no Hall. Since the recent performance of the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered,” both my inner state and physical condition have changed greatly. Unable to grasp those changes, I spent the following days feeling unsettled, so I had truly been looking forward to today’s concert. From the very first note, the sound permeated the depths of my life, bringing tears to my eyes. I felt gratitude for being embraced by the gentleness of life and for living together with others. The message delivered was so beautiful and profound that my soul trembled. Wanting to understand its deeper meaning, I continued listening carefully to the piano. Before I knew it, I realized I was already experiencing exactly what the message conveyed, which surprised me. I could see “genpin,” the female mystery, within the depth of my being, and it brought me profound peace and rest. My previously unsettled mind and body finally became calm. Here, I found a way to live, and my heart is filled with gratitude. I can still feel tears flowing deep within. If "gen," the primordial void, exists within, then it becomes the key to living beyond place and beyond time, remaining connected no matter where we are. I clearly understand that love is one and the same thing in life as it is in soul. The tears flowing still inside are dissolving past suffering, sorrow, resentment, and many other emotions. When past burdens remain, the past is repeated. I understand deeply that true peace is created when nothing remains within. Today’s concert cleansed, purified and emptied my inner state, shifting it to a new dimension, and this experience is a precious source of hope for life. Everything has turned into gratitude.
