Today at “Food for Life—Kitchen Labo,” we held K’s Kitchen. We planned this event so that everyone could enjoy what feels like a home-cooked dinner. Many people joined us, and the sight of everyone happily sharing a meal together in such a heartfelt and welcoming atmosphere was truly heartwarming. Recently, with those who gather, we often speak about how having joyful and happy experiences teaches us a way of life that will build a new era of humanity. When we have good experiences, our hearts become enriched. And when our hearts are enriched, we naturally feel that we live together in one life with many people, and we begin to think and act in ways that allow all lives to thrive. I feel we need more of such meaningful experiences, and I hope to continue creating occasions where that becomes possible. Tomorrow, Master Idaki Shin’s piano concert will be held at Mitaka City Public Hall, Hikari-no Hall. Since the performance of the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” on November 28, I sense a great change within. The change has been difficult to grasp, confusing me, so I hope that tomorrow’s concert will help my physical state settle and allow me to understand what is happening. I am deeply grateful that there is a concert tomorrow, and I feel saved by the opportunity. Master Idaki Shin’s concerts always create a new world. No matter what happens, the answer always lies in the future. I perceive that when we live every moment of the present sincerely—true to our deepest wishes—there will surely be fruit in future. I am truly happy and grateful to share rich and love-filling experiences with everyone. Such a concert is a special experience. I feel sincere gratitude for the opportunity to attend, and I pray that its energy will spread throughout the world. Thank you.
