Messages from Keiko Koma

26th Nov. 2025 / in Tokyo

Today at Tokyo Komaya, we held Keiko Koma Coffee Ceremony “From the Deepest Wishes to Creation,” and later in the evening, we held “Today’s Talk and Dialogue.” The events were fully booked, and many people attended. Seeing everyone so delighted brought me great joy, and I express my deepest gratitude. I am also sincerely thankful that people come from all over Japan. Some even say, “At least once a month, I must come to Komaya,” and travel long distances to be here. At Komaya, we serve special ceremony coffee that Master Idaki Shin roasted, using ceramic cups handmade by him. This extraordinary coffee can only be enjoyed here. It is truly an experience of purification, cleansing, and opening fortune. The moment one drinks it, negative influences are dispelled, unnecessary burdens fall away, and one’s life becomes purified. When nothing unnecessary remains in life, tremendous energy flows in, and great fortune arises. I believe this experience is essential for living, and I am deeply grateful that we can offer it here at Komaya. Together with our staff, I also make Daifuku rice cakes. These sweets offer a refreshing and light sensation, leaving no heaviness in the body. Because they also feel like purifying one, we serve them together with the coffee, praying that everyone who partakes may be cleansed in mind and body, filled with joy and love, welcomed by good fortune, and live a rich and fulfilling life. Wrapped in the warmth of natural wood, Komaya resonates with life itself and with the music of Master Idaki Shin, creating a clear and sacred atmosphere. It is a space where one’s true self naturally appears, and one can truly meet oneself. I am profoundly grateful for the existence of such a place and for the opportunity to hold the coffee ceremony here. With the hope that this space will spread across the world and help create a world where all people can live as true human beings, I carried out today’s gatherings. Thank you so much.
