Messages from Keiko Koma

11th June. 2025 / in Tokyo

I came upon a scene of hydrangea flowers shining beautifully in the rain. Drawn to their beauty, I stepped closer. Each petal was tinged with a slightly different hue. It was so beautiful. I stood in awe of the profound beauty of life in nature. The shades of flowers born of nature’s life are beyond human reproduction. I am always deeply moved by the beauty, which seems to reveal the presence of God. Wildflowers, too, are delicate and beautiful. From spring to summer, countless flowers bloom in a joyful array of colors. I sincerely pray that we, human beings, too, may live richly and beautifully—unified with the life of nature. Today, I received a message from Ethiopia, speaking of the harsh conditions there. We are engaged in a coffee business here in Japan, which began from our efforts to support those suffering from hunger in Ethiopia. The fertile land and majestic nature—the natural environment there was astonishingly rich and overwhelmingly dynamic. Since childhood, I have always wondered why people must suffer hardship. I am grateful that now, I can take steps toward true solutions. Yet through the messages I receive, I keenly feel how severe and harsh the situation still is. I earnestly hope for the swift arrival of a society where everyone may live in peace and happiness. I will continue forward each day, guided by my innermost wish to work toward fundamental solutions. Now, we are heading toward the birthday concert of Master Idaki Shin—since his resurrection—to be held on June 23rd. Every day, I awaken more deeply to what it means to be truly human. I am sincerely grateful for this precious opportunity to become an authentic human being. Thank you.
