At Master Idaki Shin's concert in Mitaka today, I listened again to sound I had never heard before and, as I see sound in figures, saw figures I had never seen before. It felt like I was deciphering a difficult code. But, as what I sense is the key, I listened to the music honestly as what I felt. When I became unified with the sound, the answer to what I had been thinking about for a long time came out from inside my life. I woke up to the fact that inside our life is a treasury of wisdom. Thirty-six years ago, I held Master Idaki Shin's concert. I recalled what I told people at the time. I told them that from each sound, you hear a message from life that continues from way back in primeval times to the present and that each sound is full of life's wisdom. After 37 years since then, I experienced that it was indeed so. When I listen to each concert with my current challenges on my mind, their answers emerge from within my life. By the time the concert ends, all answers are there, and the dimension of my world will have changed completely. With humanity in crisis now, I hope that the wisdom of life existing from primeval times blossoms to create a world where humankind can survive. I follow my undoubted sense within that such a world will be built—it is not merely a dream. I pray that this information reaches people all over the world. Human lives can communicate with each other. Grateful for the opportunity to cultivate my life sensibility at Master Idaki Shin's concert, I will spread the word to the world. Thank you very much.
