Hello everyone.
Today we held the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” concert in Morioka.
In this land, the sky is high and the air is crystal-clear and the mountains, the trees, the rivers are beautiful. As I see from Kenji Miyazawa having written his poems here, I ’m always moved by the atmosphere of this land where poems are born.
Last night when I was called and stepped outside, there was a soul that started talking to me. From Master Idaki Shin’s sound in the concert today, I narrated the voice of the soul, and I was very moved and became filled with tears in my heart. Now is a time when I can meet people who lived in the past. When I read the poem of a Koguryo king, I know very well that it is not merely a poem but an expression of a soul.
Meeting those who are alive and those who have passed away, we can live eternally in a new world where no one is ever separated. I strongly felt that we could live in happiness if we lived in the new world together. Having experienced such world today, I felt that it was a beginning—a beginning of my true life. I am thankful from the bottom of my heart.
The “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” is a concert that we all create together. I felt that a new era to be created by everyone, one that humankind can survive, has begun. Together with everyone, I wish to keep building a good era vigorously.
