At the Lutheran Church in Vladivostok, outside the window where evening light was pouring in, the trees were swaying blown by the wind, and it was beautiful. When Master Idaki Shin played the old piano placed in the church, even though it was a short, tentative performance, it was filled with romance. I feel that the land of Russia is romantic. A wind of romance blows in the vast land of Russia. I felt like I wanted to listen to it forever. Next, he played the electronic organ. I perceived it as a prayer. Because I have been offering prayers from around the age of three, I always find myself praying, still today. Since I have encountered Master Idaki Shin, I realized that to move to solve problems is what prayer is, so I have changed to move to create the future, but just by offering prayers, closing my eyes and putting palm to palm. I am praying when I am moving. Today, I was praying for the first time in a long time while listening to the sound of the organ. I wish for the world to become peaceful… I wish for each person to be able to live a happy life… It was as if the prayers since I was three years old had revived right here. Master Idaki Shin’s piano and organ concert will be held at this church next June. During the intermission, they are preparing a coffee break. I have a feeling that it will be a very exciting concert, and while holding concerts, I wish to diffuse the path for a peaceful world from the gallery which will function as our base.
At the end of yesterday’s concert, applause broke out when I gave a speech saying that we are holding concerts to realize a peaceful world. It was a moment when tears welled up in my eyes. They applauded again heartily when I expressed that I came to Vladivostok to search for compatriots who would create peace together with me. Feeling that it was applause from my compatriots, a wave of excitement surged towards me. I pray that this wave of excitement will be spread to the world and that the situation of crisis that the world is facing will change as soon as possible. Thank you very much.
