I walked the streets of Vladivostok. In the cold autumn wind, leaves fluttering down add onto the loneliness and sadness already felt in the city. I sense the presence of many souls gathering for Master Idaki Shin’s concert that will be held soon. I came here to find my compatriots. Today I handed out a leaflet explaining my purpose to people I met. They rejoiced. And I met a roadside space with glass walls for rent, an image I received in a divine message. When all paperwork is done, we can create our base here. I was delighted to find that it felt like the launch of a search to find my compatriots.
Walking the fashionable streets towards the sea, I heard the sound of the wind from the sea. I deeply recognized that this is a seaside city. On my first visit, I stood on the frozen surface of the ocean. On my second visit, I had a meal with a view of the sea. I, of course, knew that I was in a seaside city. There’s even a view of the ocean and the harbor from the window of my hotel room. But I realized for the first time that the city stood by the sea. A couple I met today said that they came back to Vladivostok because they missed the ocean. Their words echoed in my soul. I felt connected to them in my soul.
At the concert of Master Idaki Shin to be held on the 10th, I wonder what I will feel and what I will be awakened to. A life that far exceeds any dream that I had has begun. Sensing a sign of unimaginable progress, I walked the streets of Vladivostok, a city with many slopes and a view of the ocean, with a feeling of wonder. How would I encounter my compatriots separated 1300 years ago? The Russian people I met referred to themselves as my compatriots. I’m deeply grateful. And how will this story progress? Though unknown, as I have long waited for this time, what unravels holds great meaning for me. My heart is pounding, but at the same time, I quietly focus deep inside as I wait for the concert to take place. Thank you very much.
