Feeling that a ceramic cup that radiates blue light matches the land of 40 degrees north latitude where a blue star shines, I brought the one created by Master Idaki Shin with me from our atelier on Mt. Hiei. In the afternoon sunlight, I took a look at the cup, while gazing at the trees shining in blue and the river surface radiating a pale blue light, infinitely pure and clear. Indeed, a blue wind swept across, a wind that blows in the land of King Kotai, the 19th king of the kingdom of Koguryo. The cup revealed a blue light that was seen in the star viewed in the land of 40 degrees north latitude. I felt relieved that I would be protected.
I saw the presence of a beautiful lady in the scene of marbling lace curtains by the window swaying in the wind. The wind even carried the scent of the beautiful lady who was boundlessly clear and pure. A pleasant wind blew, and an elegant scent wafted in the air. I instantly felt the presence of Madam Ryuka, the mother of King Tomei, the founding king of Koguryo. I saw a beautiful and wise brilliance in her soul. The man she loved was taken away, and she was saddened, shedding tears, by her destiny, unable to live with her loved one in her life. But she always lived with a pure, beautiful soul so that her child could continue to live. I saw true beauty in her strength. The beauty of the lady I saw in the marbling curtains, so beautiful that my soul trembled, taught me that a soul was eternal. To know that one shines ceaselessly as an everlasting light when one lives beautifully and strongly no matter what happens, I felt hope in seeing the mystical side of a human being.
In the night sky where a pure, beautiful soul, that I encountered in the land of 40 degrees north latitude, delightfully welcomed me, a light was born and crossed, creating a path of light. Together with the souls, I head towards the “Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” concert in Morioka. History will change. I accept that my life is one that changes history.  I live at the very core of history. I will build a new human history by expressing a new world. Thank you very much.
