The founder of Koguryo and my ancestor, king Tomei, was born to have many extraordinary abilities, so people around him envied and tried to kill him. So his mother let him escape to a remote place. Like this he was separated from her mother, left his homeland and started to build a new dynasty as he wished to create a new space for everyone to live a happy life. As I visited Mt. Gojo, its birthplace, I realized that a new love was born out of sadness, and Koguryo was established. Since then my ancestors have all wished for the arrival of this new era of ours, when the world far beyond Heaven would become wide open. Their souls were resurrected and started to live an eternal life in the newly manifested world. The Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert expressed this process of salvation of souls and the true human history. As I watched the DVD of one held in Georgia, at the scene of king Kotai’s tomb, Great Being was clearly manifested. I trembled at this and my heart was greatly moved. I said to myself that everybody would feel the same thing and acknowledge the truth as one watched this. I was greatly attracted. The truth was the source of energy to live on. Mr. Idaki Shin said that each of us would become the solid body for creating our country, and since then I realized the unity of my life with my country that has greatly changed my daily life. I would renew my life and make a new start for creating a truly good country that was filled with human richness and light of a brilliantly shining life.
