The Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered
The coming Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert would be held in Kyoto on my birthday and in Kanazawa so today I created new poems to be narrated at the concerts.
Then I went to the Skyrocket center, sat down in front of the Koma calligraphy displayed at its basement floor, and closed my eyes to envision the fresh greening of Mt. Gojo and a fully smiling king Tomei. I realized that my life was unified with them wherever I would be and we would work together. A great sensation of joy came up from within my life. Though I knew we were all together, I greeted them and said farewell as I was heading for a long trip for rebuilding our country. I made a smile. I was grateful to my marvelous life. I felt I could bravely overcome any difficulties and valiantly achieve my goals, now that the dearest wish of all the kings of kings of Koguryo was realized and the world far beyond the universe was wide open to us. I recalled that I had once created a poem for the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert, that our country would never be prosperous if we were not connected to the world far beyond the universe. I was greatly surprised as if my heart would jump out of my body as the poem had automatically come out from my life. My soul was fully awakened. I would never forget this moment. As I expressed something in words, it would surely be realized sometime later. The meaning of my poem would always be realized in some future. Once again I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my life that was full of miraculous things.
