Marbling

At the Keiko Koma Skyrocket Center Omotesando, you would see many t-shirts that I had created in order to raise funds for our reconstruction projects after the disaster. They were displayed in rows and looked like blooming flowers. Their patterns made me feel the unknown remote universe and widely opened my heart. Today for the first time after the disaster, I went shopping to a department store for things necessary for coming activities. Bright colors usually attracted my eyes, however, this time their lack of depth in understanding human nature made them sad just to look at. I took less time in shopping than before and came back. Then I saw my marbling wear and it made me realize the universal nature of human life. I put on one and I became extremely happy as I felt an authentic freedom and became capable of expressing my deepest wishes. My internality was filled with vigor. Owing to Mr. Idaki Shin, at his concert I have always experienced that our internality was connected to the vast universe. This was the source of energy, encouragement and wisdom to make seemingly impossible things possible. The richness of our internality was the core for opening up our future. Therefore I used to put on things that corresponded to the state of my internality and made me shine brilliantly. Today I was presented with a handcrafted small notebook made of special papers that I had created with marbling patterns on “Washi”, the Japanese traditional paper. Its colors and patterns looked very lovely and elegant. My soul trembled as I looked at them. Eventually I recalled a diary book I used in my teens. My expression in language was identical to my life that always made me live on. My writing in this new note book should be true to the beauty of its appearance that was high above anything on earth. I was extremely happy to have this. Whatever might happen at any time, my internality should be connected to the remote universe and break through any negative situations.
