The legends of Koguryo

I produced the video and photo book entitled “the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered” and started to distribute it on the 1st of November in the year 2000 as I wished to share my experiences with people all over the world. Now we were in a beautiful cherry blossom season and I enjoyed walking under it. Meanwhile I had a chance to watch again the video that was filmed by Mr. Idaki Shin and I was greatly impressed by the scene of Jian city in Ryonei, China where Mt. Gojo, the birth place of the Koguryo dynasty, was located. The video was accompanied by music also created by Mr. Idaki Shin. Quite naturally I shed tears on hearing the music. Then on the 1st of January in the year 2001, I started to organize a concert event of this program and I narrated poems on stage accompanied by the music by Mr. Idaki Shin. The first poem was the one I had created at Huanren province, China in great sadness as it was only about ten days after I had lost my mother. Every time I came to narrate the poem I could not resist shedding tears while the beautiful video made my heart tremble. I was amazed at the extreme beauty and mysterious nature of human life that was beyond expression in words. I also acknowledged that my ancestors had come to Japan all the way from the remote beautiful homeland in China. I felt that everything was guided by influences of the world far beyond ours and made my encounter with Mr. Idaki Shin happen. The other day I received from Lebanon a poem dedicated to me and he wrote that he knew my existence much before our encounter. Now it was very understandable how it happened. A human being was able to transcend time and space. Now our life was full of hope and filled with energy to open up our future. The power that had built a new dynasty out of nothing in ancient times was reviving . The title of the poem from Lebanon was “The Legends of Koguryo”. This was a miraculous coincidence. Now it was the time to get everybody together, live a new life connected to the world three stages before the Big Bang, and create our future.
