Life and story of Keiko Koma

One day quite spontaneously I picked up a phone and dialed my office and exclaimed that I would hold a new event entitled ”Life and story of Keiko Koma”. I wondered what on earth made me so joyful just by announcing the name. I certainly felt a great hope for our future and I was excited to see what would happen in reality. I decided to screen a DVD of Reika 6 and the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert as a part of the event, and narrate whatever would come into my mind. I loved to create and also narrate poems and often times I felt like just keeping on narrating my poems endlessly as long as there would be somebody who would enjoy listening to them. Some time ago I visited a famous monument of an Iranian poet at Shiraz, the city famous for its rose fields and poets, and as it was in the later afternoon of May, roses were in full bloom and at their best. People gathered around the monument, opened a book of poems and narrated one of their choice, some were couples and others were with friends or just by themselves. This was an unforgettable beautiful light-scape in the midst of roses and an aroma of spring. I wished that people would have a great time as this at my coming event.

Embraced by an aroma of spring
Visited by a wind coming from our future
I decided to hold the gathering “Life and story of Keiko Koma”.
My heart was excited at the coming wonderful future:
Poems of life,
Poems of history,
Poems of future,
Poems of life that have never been expressed in human history.
Let’s create and appreciate all together.
