Future space
I brought in to my home in Kyoto Komasui glass wares, tea pots in the shape of the birth of stars, mug cups, and table mats with my marbling drawing. As I made tea and coffee with them I was filled with happiness. I dared to put a big marbling cloth over the wooden center table whose wooden patterns looked beautiful, however, as I tried it on, it made the entire room space clear, lovely and even looked bigger than before. I felt the universe and my heart became wide open. I was filled with energy to do anything though I had been inactive since last night as it was very cold. Mr. Idaki Shin presented me with a heater. I realized the importance of improving my daily life so that a cold winter day would become a lovely one and I could always be active and happy. I walked up the Yumemizaka slope to the Yasaka tower that was firmly standing shining brilliantly and looked ready to fly over the sky beautifully reflecting red sunset beams. My heart was greatly moved at this marvelous sight. I have completely forgotten which era of history I was living in. Then I encountered souls of ancient Koguryo’s people. The Koma sign board in the middle of the Koma gallery Café’s interior garden and the view of the tower seen from there were equally shining to tell me that every fellow’s soul was getting together here to collaborate with us and was looking forward to experiencing the great romanticism in human history that was waiting for us in our future. My heart became warm and energetic as everything such as encounter with the souls of my ancestors at Yasaka, manifestation of the universe in my home, etc., was suggestive of a dynamic development in the near future of our activities in this ancient capital city.
