Sign board of Koma

At the basement floor of the Keiko Koma Skyrocket center at Omotesandou, Tokyo, there stood a sign board of Koma made by Mr. Idaki Shin that I had brought in at night under a heavy storm with thunder and lightning to be in time for its opening day responding to my inner message to build a new dynasty. Since then I made it a rule to go down to greet the sign board, stand in front of it and close my eyes in order to see the ancient kings of Koguryo, while I could see king Jakou at his tomb at the village of Koma. These days I always envisioned king Tomei in his youth standing on top of the snow covered Mt. Gojo, whose vivid and active countenances greatly encouraged me. Today I changed the installation of my art works on the basement floor and I greeted the Koma sign board and envisioned his brilliantly shining face, however all of a sudden I realized that Koma represented the very spirituality of Koguryo standing within my life. As long as I would live an authentic life taking this as the core of my heart, my future would always remain wide open. A legendary tree growing straight towards Heaven was manifested here. I heard with great joy that the original name of Mt. Gojo signified the same thing. Then I considered the Skyrocket center as a new Mt. Gojo where an eternal spirituality was standing at the core. As I opened the Koma gallery Café at Yasaka, Kyoto I also placed the sign board of Koma in its inner garden. I wished to connect two Koma calligraphies in Tokyo and Kyoto through space to start rebuilding our world together with the world of souls and create one that would never be destroyed allowing everybody on earth to live a truly happy life. The world far beyond Heaven that was embraced and envisioned by king Tomei was now provided on earth. My heart was connected to this and together with Great Being I would pave a way for realizing the most cherished desire of humankind.
