Mt. Gojo

Just staying at Mt.Gojo I felt extreme happiness to be alive and sometimes while I was in Japan, I felt the presence of Mt. Gojo and became greatly vigorous and brave to challenge anything and overcome any difficulties. One day I drew on the surface of a white cup and plate a light-scape that I had envisioned in my night dream. As it was provided in my dream I just followed my vision and enjoyed expressing it in this world. Influences by Great Being could be received everywhere as messages of winds, aroma and in my night dream. The white plate manifested Mt. Gojo and Wandu castle that made me laugh with joy. Soon I would change the installation of the Koma basement gallery at Roppongi into a special place of Koguryo. I created a big tapestry work with a mind-scape drawing expressing the night sky and stars seen from the top of Mt. Gojo. This would surely make the space be filled with the atmosphere of Mt. Gojo. Before I used to calculate and think in advance the result of my new idea and plan, however, now I was realizing anything coming up from the core of my life as I knew that Great Being was together with us. I was extremely grateful that my new wishes and ideas would naturally open up our future. I was living in marvelous circumstances where everyday’s night dream, light-scape, winds and aroma were all telling me what to do next to pave a way for a wonderful future.
