Fruits of persimmon

I envisioned a light-scape of an ancient capital city of Koguryo in autumn as I walked along the same road that I frequented in my teens through a country yard covered with light brown persimmon trees with nuts. I tried to recall something in ancient times and kept on walking with my heart fully animated paying attention to everything. All of a sudden I could not resist shedding tears coming from the bottom of my heart as I was filled with great nostalgia for a remote happy day and sadness at having lost it. I envisioned another ancient light-scape as I saw the landscape of brown trees and leaves through my tearful eyes. Souls of people who had cherished the desire to return to their homeland in some future and died in vain were echoing to my heart and crying together with me. There was nothing that they could do but cry and wait till the arrival of a glorious time. Now that the time has come and the world three stages before the Big Bang was wide open before us, the truth and the deepest desire of souls would be realized. The winds of Mt. Gojo started to blow through my internality and I could feel its aroma that allowed my ancestors to build a great dynasty in ancient times out of nothing. As I felt this, I realized a great joy, impressions and tremendous energy that became the source to open up my future.

Walking on a country road in a brown world,
I realized ancient people’s grievances
who had so long waited for the arrival of a glorious time
And cherished their hidden dream at the bottom of their hearts.
This was the unforgettable meaning of their life.
However as they had waited so long in vain,
An autumn wind was sorrowful and
The landscape in persimmon color was tearing their heart apart.
However their yearning for a tremendous elapse of time was finally answered
And their heart was nursed in the world far beyond our world.
Every grievance was melting away as if nothing had happened.
It was time to live a new time.
Eternity was provided now.
The special aroma celebrated us all.
