Mt. Pektou

I installed a photo panel of Mt. Pektou taken by Mr. Idaki Shin that was extremely beautiful and far beyond description in words. I recalled that when I visited there in the year 1998, the darkness in my mind was completely wiped away by the sight of its beauty and I regained the beauty of my internality. Lake Tenchi on top of the mountain reflected the heart of Heaven on Earth and was extremely pure and transparent. I realized that the beauty was eternal and also the source of building a new nation. This was the beginning of my new life. Since some time ago I started to organize events entitled A Night for Rebuilding our Nation, and I remembered that it was in the year 2004 that I made one for the first time as that year was the special turn of a year every sixty years in ancient Koguryo’s calendar. Obviously it was once in my lifetime. I had received a message to start rebuilding our world, so I had decided to hold numbers of events and the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concerts all over Japan under this theme. And today I was also greatly moved by the beauty of the photo of Mt. Pektou and I received the same message. Mt. Pektou was said to be the holy birth place of the legendary hero Tangun. It was time to create a new world for everybody to live a beautiful life shining at the core of life. I would move and follow the most effective path to realize this. I was grateful to be provided with the new time to resume my way.
