Mt Gojo under snow

As soon as I watched some photo panels of snow-covered Mt. Gojo taken by Mr. Idaki Shin, I found myself walking along the fortification walls on top of Mt. Gojo and souls of ancient Koguryo’s people who had built the castle addressed me. Trees were waving to chilly winds, however, I enjoyed an aroma and nostalgia of my ancestor as they made me, greatly attracted by everything, forget an elapse of time. There were about two hundred photo panels of Koguryo’s historic sites exhibited at our Kyoto office. Each impressed me greatly and I said to myself silently that I loved them all. I felt as if an ancient glorious era of Koguryo were revived. Even the breath of people who built the dynasty was closely felt. The space was filled with tremendous energy. I was grateful to this marvelous space and felt great joy to be here. I wished that many people would come to experience this space. I felt greatly obliged to my miraculous life as I could meet the soul of the founder of Koguryo, king Tomei, and my most favorite, king Kotai, transcending differences in time, history and space.
