Father of Koguryo
The Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert held in Teheran, the
capital of Iran, earlier this year was the very first event after the
revolution where a female artist's show was performed before both a male
and female audience. As I had a chance to check its final edition for
DVD I was greatly attracted by the scene of my poem about the father
of Koguryo and snow covered Mt. Gojo. My soul trembled filled with
extreme joy and gratitude to be alive. Something at the depth of my
heart was moved. I realized that the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered
concert manifested our new way of human life that I wished to share
with everybody on earth. In the video I stated my deepest wish to
provide this all over the world, and I acknowledged that the
realization of this historic concert for global peace, staging me as a
main performing artist, was indeed made possible by the help of Great
Being.
Today I installed at the Skyrocket center at Omotesandou the photo
panels of a snow covered Mt. Gojo taken by Mr. Idaki Shin. What I
called the father of Koguryo was visible in these photos and I could
not resist shedding tears as I encountered them and realized that the
truth of Koguryo's history and life of its people in ancient times was
becoming more and more obvious to everybody. This was a great hope for
our future as innate memories of Koguryo from ancient times were
reviving as the source of energy to open up the future of humankind.
Thank you very much.
