Flower whose name I did not know

While I drove my car sensing a deepening of autumn along the way,
I came across a lovely flower that greatly excited my heart. It was of
a pure purple color and I did not know its name. The green of  the
leaves matched beautifully with the purple flower that looked like a
symbol of purity and seemed to show me a way for my future. No
surplus was visible and it manifested a light-scape and the beauty of
being simple. Its pure transparent light of a flower made me marvel. I
refrained from asking it its name as this was obviously
meaningless, and I greeted it and made a bow. The combination of
green and purple was also my favorite one, which I called colors of
Koguryo, and I frequently used this combination when I created Koma-sui
glass art pieces.   When I visited Mt. Gojo in the midst of a severe
winter, my soul trembled at the sight of a fortification wall that was
an exquisitely beautiful green and purple. I said to myself
that the flower should have known Koguryo. As I always cherished
flowers since childhood, just to come across a new flower was my great
pleasure. I became confident that our future would be glorious.
