The first of October
One year ago I rented an apartment in Kyoto as my second home and I
anticipated a wonderful future. Joyfully I moved to Kyoto. Then I
opened a new facility at Yasaka and every time I faced a difficulty I
was encouraged by the beautiful memory of the day I installed a new
abode in Kyoto. That was how I overcame the difficult process of
promoting the Idaki Shin concert held last winter in Kyoto. Often
I felt like escaping from there. However as my lovely
home was there, there was no way to do so, and I endured any negative situation
till I managed to lead, and the concert ended in a great success. Now I
have opened another facility in Kyoto, and I am ready to exercise our
maximum powers to influence our activities in Kyoto for opening up a
new human world all over the world. On the last day in September I
held a salon gathering true to a message I had received about a year
ago when I had bought traditional cushions. Another image I had
envisioned was special sweets for the gathering and by coincidence Ms.
Ai had made them for me on time, which eventually made me recall the
message.
As I arrived at Yasaka late at night, Mr. Idaki Shin started to make
special sweet beans for rice cake. As I tasted one piece I was filled
with joy and I realized that it was a taste of Koma. Before leaving
Yasaka for home Mr. Idaki Shin prepared a package of rice cake for me
saying that he had made plenty of them for the following day's salon
gathering so I could take one. And I welcomed it. Thanks to his
special rice cakes the salon gathering was filled with the atmosphere
of ancient Koguryo. I served coffee by myself that did not taste like
coffee, but something coming from the land of Koguryo. I felt as if we
were on top of Mt. Gojo and celebrating the arrival of autumn. I said
to myself that my coffee was a beverage of ancient Koguryo and rice
cakes by Idaki Shin were full of an aroma of autumn on Mt. Gojo. I truly
enjoyed the taste of rich land and the warm atmosphere of people’s hearts .
All of a sudden I recalled that at the beginning of October ancient
Koguryo people used to celebrate Heaven. I acknowledged that I had
held my gathering true to the traditions of Koguryo and expressed our
gratitude to Heaven and joy at welcoming a rich autumn season in the
same manner over a long elapse of time. I was looking forwards to see
what would come next.
