Azerbaijan and I
I had the chance to watch an edited video filmed by our staff during our visit to Azerbaijan that clarified many things as I could see how I did by it. I had seen DVDs of the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concerts, however, the image of myself in the video was very different and looked wild and dynamic. I said to myself in my mind that I looked like one of a tribe of horsemen and all of a sudden I recalled with great impression that I was told in Azerbaijan that they originated from lake Baikal as a horse tribe. I also recalled that in early days when I met Mr. Idaki Shin, he told me that the roots of Koguryo were Phoenicians and horsemen tribes of lake Baikal which I wished to visit one day. I marveled at the great coincidence of my encounter with Azerbaijan as we seemed to share the same origin. I became greatly excited to stage the Legends of Koguryo rediscovered concert there in this autumn. Indeed I looked like a leader of a horsemen’s troop. Something innate within my life might have been disclosed. I was amazed at how I looked. Now I was preparing for the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert in Kyoto and Kanazawa, two cities with many historic traces and an aroma of Koguryo’s people. Souls buried and sleeping under the ground and sea were reviving and all getting together. When the heart of people in the past would be nursed and glorified, our heart could move on towards the future. I was excited at many signs that promised to manifest hidden secrets.
