The Great Being
These days I realized that the time had come for us to drastically change the world by expressing my sincere wishes and taking actions responding to what I have inherited from my ancestors, generation after generation. I was excited to discover what would come next in my life. As I had started to live a life true to my sincere wishes, to live was to realize them in the actual world and my life was not any more dominated by outer circumstances. Under whatever situation, one should remain rich in one’s internality and pave a way for opening up a truly human world to make everybody happy. At today’s Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert, I realized the dynamic energy of the first king of Koguryo, king Tomei as I narrated my poem about his life: as he was threatened with death, he had to leave home and live alone separated from his mother. Encouraged by brilliant smiling faces of his new fellows whom he had encountered and shared the same heart with, he started to build his own dynasty. Under any difficult situations their lives were unified and they could smile at each other to remain truthful to their original heart. I envisioned a light and the aroma of an early spring day and my life also remained vigorous.
