Summer festival
Commemorating our three days’ special concerts, I have been creating many blouses and shirts with my mind-scape drawings and marbling design both for man and woman. As I watched them, I became excited at their beauty and imagined an unknown but marvelous person who would put one of them on and walk around to make the space clear and beautiful. I would love to meet such a person and live in the same town as he or she. My marbling works made of Kimono, the traditional Japanese textile, were especially beautiful. They were shining brilliantly and caught everyone’s eyes; broach, loop tie, mirror, bag, katyusya, cap and tapestry, etc. This time I created also a traditional costume out of Kimono with marbling technique. I wrapped the special four DVD set of the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert held in Kyoto on the 19th and 20th May, 6th and 7th July with Washi a traditional Japanese paper. Each piece was my unique art work with marbling design and different from each other. They seemed to be full of dramatic stories and exquisite aroma of what I called the great romanticism of history.
