New humankind
I made special shirts and blouses with marbling designs as I had successfully created them last time using the same technique and proudly named them “aroma of romance”. This time their exquisite beauty made me feel the presence of the life of a person who would put one on and become a new kind of human that would always shine brilliantly and beautifully at one’s internality. Beauty would become the perpetual companion of one’s life, and as one would walk among us, a new world of beauty would become visible, just as my art work was spontaneously created by flows of wind and water: I had fully to concentrate myself instance after instance and became very excited when I was creating one. As I finally saw the result, its beauty made me imagine a wonderful person that would put it on. I would feel like following him or her when I would come across a person wearing my art works as they manifested an aroma of dream and were inviting us to rediscover and realize our own dreams in our actual life. Also I highly appreciated with much wonder the high quality of Kimono, a Japanese traditional textile. As a Japanese, everyone should be proud of this. As I came to find many new exciting things working on it, I was grateful to the encounter with Kimono. Also today’s sunset made me express its beautiful color with my art work. As I came to create what I called the mind-scape drawings, colors of nature always attracted my attention as they perfectly matched to show a beautiful scene and landscape indifferent to their combination; greening of trees with flowers in yellow and red, blue sky with flowers in yellow, purple and orange, etc. Like this I realized that every person could live a beautiful life unified with every living thing as in nature. This was a great hope for the future of humankind. I was grateful to be provided with the opportunity to express what I had discovered in my art works; everything became very interesting and I could learn many things at any time. In reality anyone’s life was expressing one’s own life through what one did every day, so human life was a kind of art work. I wondered with joy what would come next in our life.
