Beautiful aroma

Today I went to my atelier to create new shirts with marbling technique that seemed to have invited a beautiful aroma and filled us with hope for our future. I was very excited in my heart. I had to finish shirts for men that were half done in Kyoto and create new ones for a lady. As they were hung side by side, they looked like a beautiful couple. As I started to call them yesterday the birth of aroma of romance, I joyfully recalled that Mr. Idaki Shin told me the meaning of romance as the state of fully exercising one’s talent and ability to live a truly vigorous life. Here I recalled a special aroma in the afternoon of a hot summer day and winds that I had enjoyed in my childhood. They made me bear in my heart a lot of hope for my wonderful future full of new encounters. I felt that my dreams at that time were being realized in my actual life. Recently I also acknowledged that my essential nature has never been changed throughout my life. Though I did not understand their meaning, early days in my life were full of signs and messages, moment after moment, and a special aroma and wind made me recall them now all of a sudden, especially when I stayed in my atelier. I anticipated that something would make a good start from here. Today a shirt for men that I had created impressed all my staff and they joyfully raised voices of high appreciation. It was waving to winds and was shining brilliantly, and as I installed one by one, it made me envision a light-scape that each person was exercising one’s potential to the full and the surrounding space started shining brilliantly.
